Nutrishift Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1 November 2026.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
Nutrishift Ltd runs the Nutrishift website, mobile app and programmes. We are a company registered in England and Wales, number 15665203. Our registered address is 57 Walham Grove, London SW6 1QR, UK. You can reach us at contact@nutrishift.co.uk.
These terms apply when you join a Nutrishift programme or use our website or app. You accept them when you tick the box during registration or when you first use the app. Please read them, and section 2 in particular, before you join. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your personal data.
You must be 18 or over to join a programme or use the app.
2. Your health and safety
The programme is not medical care. A Nutrishift programme is a short-term, low-calorie, low-protein eating plan for wellbeing and education. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and it does not replace advice from your doctor. This applies to everything we provide, including the booklet, recipes, app, group messages and comments from our team.
The programme is not suitable for everyone. You must complete our health and eligibility questionnaire truthfully before every programme, even if you have taken part before. You must not start a programme if any exclusion in the questionnaire applies to you. If your health changes after you complete it, including if you become pregnant, start a new medication or are diagnosed with a condition, do not start or continue, and speak to your doctor.
Side effects can happen. Temporary effects such as fatigue, hunger and headaches may occur. Preparing before the programme and reintroducing food carefully afterwards, as we describe in the booklet, are essential parts of it.
Stop if something is wrong. If you feel unwell, or are worried about your health at any point, stop the programme immediately and consult a doctor. In an emergency call 999, or 112 in the EU. Do not rely on the WhatsApp group or our team for urgent help, as messages may not be seen straight away.
Allergies and diets. You are responsible for checking every ingredient against your own allergies, intolerances and dietary needs, including on product labels. We cannot guarantee that a recipe or substitution is free of any allergen. Telling us about an allergy does not mean the programme has been adapted to it.
Results. People respond differently. We do not promise any particular health, weight or other result.
What we are responsible for. We provide the programme with reasonable care and skill. Subject to section 12, we are not responsible for any health problem that was not caused by our negligence or our breach of these terms. This includes a problem that arises because you gave inaccurate answers in the questionnaire, did not follow the programme as provided, continued after feeling unwell, or relied on what another participant said.
3. Joining a programme
Your place is confirmed only once we have your completed registration, your questionnaire and your payment. Our contract with you starts at that point, and the join page confirms it.
Each programme includes what is described on the website when you book, which includes the 5-day guided programme, the booklet, access to a WhatsApp group during the programme, and community access for three months after it. Programmes run on fixed dates.
We may change details of a programme where this is reasonable, for example to update a recipe or replace a team member. If we need to make a change that significantly affects you, we will tell you, and you may ask for a refund for the affected programme if you do not accept it.
4. Fees and payment
The price is the one shown at checkout, in pounds or euros according to the language you are using, and includes any VAT. Card payments are handled by Stripe. Discount codes apply only to the programmes and on the conditions stated when they are issued, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Changing your programme date
You may move to a different programme if you ask us at contact@nutrishift.co.uk at least 7 days before the start date of the programme you originally registered for. There is no charge for this.
You may do this once per booking, and the new programme must have places available and start within 12 months of the original start date. You stay on the same plan unless we agree otherwise, and if you move to a more expensive plan you pay the difference. You must complete the health and eligibility questionnaire again for the new programme.
After that deadline we cannot move your place.
6. No refunds, and leaving a programme
Fees are non-refundable. This is because places are limited and fixed to specific dates, and our preparation for each group starts once you book. You agree that your booking is for a service on a specific date, so the 14-day right to cancel for online purchases does not apply to it.
You can leave at any time. You may ask us to unregister you from a programme at any time, before or during it, by emailing contact@nutrishift.co.uk. We will not refund your fee, and you will not receive a credit for another programme, unless you moved in time under section 5. This also applies if you stop a programme early for any reason, including for your health, and your health always comes first. If you have a serious reason for not being able to take part, please contact us: we may, at our discretion, offer you a place on a later programme.
Your statutory rights are not affected. Nothing in this section stops you getting a remedy the law gives you, for example if we do not provide the programme as described or with reasonable care and skill.
7. If we cancel or reschedule
If we cancel a programme or change its dates, we will tell you as soon as we can, and you can choose either a place on another programme or a full refund of the fee you paid. We may do this if too few people register, or for a reason such as illness of our team.
8. Community guidelines
These guidelines apply in our WhatsApp groups and in anything you post in the app, such as recipe ratings and comments.
Please do:
- Treat everyone with respect and kindness.
- Keep the discussion relevant to the programme.
- Respect people's privacy. What others share in the group stays in the group.
Please do not:
- Harass, insult, threaten, bully or discriminate against anyone.
- Use offensive, abusive, sexually explicit or otherwise inappropriate language or images.
- Give medical advice, or encourage anyone to ignore their doctor or to go beyond the programme.
- Encourage extreme dieting or make comments about other people's bodies.
- Advertise, sell or recruit for anything.
- Screenshot, forward or share other participants' messages, names, numbers or images outside the group.
- Share anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to share.
Anything other participants say is their own personal view and not advice from Nutrishift. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. We may remove content that breaks these guidelines, and blocked comments are handled as our Privacy Policy describes.
What happens if you break them. We will normally warn you first. If you continue, we may remove you from the WhatsApp group and any programme, delete your content and deactivate your account, and we will not refund your fee. For a serious breach, such as threats, harassment or sharing someone's private information, we may do this without a warning.
9. Using our website and app
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app and website for your own participation in Nutrishift. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for what happens under your account. Please give us accurate details and keep them up to date.
You must not copy, resell or misuse the app or website, try to break their security or access other people's data, use automated tools to extract their content, or use them unlawfully.
We work to keep the app and website available, but we do not promise they will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update them or stop offering a feature. If we stop offering something that forms part of a programme you have paid for, section 3 applies. You may need the latest version of the app for it to work properly.
WhatsApp, Apple, Google and Stripe are run by other companies under their own terms, and we are not responsible for their services. Links to other websites are for your convenience only.
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store. These terms are between you and Nutrishift, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, or for maintaining or supporting it, and it has no warranty obligation for it beyond any that applies by law. We, not Apple, are responsible for dealing with claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory claims and claims that the app infringes someone's intellectual property. You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you as third-party beneficiaries.
10. Our content and yours
The booklet, recipes, app, website and other materials belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy, share, publish or sell them.
You keep ownership of what you post. You allow us to display it to other participants and to host it and moderate it for as long as it stays in the app.
11. Your personal data
We handle your personal data under UK data protection law and, if you live in the EU, the EU GDPR, as our Privacy Policy describes. It explains what we collect, including health-related information, the legal basis for each use, who we share it with and how long we keep it. It also explains your rights, including to access, correct or delete your data, and how to complain.
In a WhatsApp group, other members can see your phone number, your profile and anything you post. WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy apply there. Please think carefully before sharing health or other personal information in a group.
You can delete your account in the app's Settings or by emailing us. Deleting your account does not cancel a booking, entitle you to a refund or change sections 5 and 6, and you will lose access to the app and its content.
12. Our liability to you
What we do not limit. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else for which the law does not allow us to exclude or limit liability. This includes your rights as a consumer.
What we are not responsible for. Subject to the above, we are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable when you joined, or that was caused by something outside our reasonable control. Our services are for personal use, so we are not responsible for loss of income, business or opportunity.
Our limit. Subject to the above, our total liability to you for each programme is limited to the fee you paid for it.
Events outside our control. We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. If this affects a programme, section 7 applies.
13. Ending your access
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we need to for legal or security reasons. We will stop offering the app or website only after giving you reasonable notice, unless that is not possible.
14. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, email contact@nutrishift.co.uk and we will try to put it right. We aim to reply within 14 days. We do not currently use an alternative dispute resolution provider.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example to reflect a change in the law or in our services. We will tell you about important changes in the app or by email. The terms in force when you booked apply to that booking, unless a change is required by law.
16. General
- Transfer. We may transfer this agreement to another organisation, provided your rights are not reduced. You may not transfer your place or your rights without our written agreement.
- Other people. Except as section 9 says about Apple, nobody else has any right to enforce these terms.
- If part is invalid. If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest stays in force.
- Delay. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Entire agreement. These terms and your booking confirmation are our whole agreement with you about their subject. This does not affect any statement you relied on that was made fraudulently.
17. Applicable law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring a claim in the courts there. If you live elsewhere as a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law where you live, and you may be able to bring a claim in the courts there.
